SUPPORT OUR 2023 SEASON

Dear Center for the Arts Friends,

Our 2022-2023 season is off to a magical start, thanks to Center for the Arts supporters like you!

This past year, patrons like yourself enjoyed Monday Night Movies, Beaufort Theatre Company’s Broadway-style musical productions, Lunch with Authors, and professional touring artists such as Broadway artist Charl Brown in “Smokey and Me”.  In addition, thousands of school children came to see Beaufort Children’s Theatre productions, such as “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” and other professional touring school shows.

We are so grateful for the support you’ve given us during our 2022 season’s performances.  Because of your generosity, USCB Center for the Arts continues to provide diverse cultural programs that keep our community centered on the arts.

As we look forward to providing the remaining 2023 season of extraordinary performances, we also look forward to your continued support and donations. Each year, it costs over $400,000 to cover production, programming, marketing, and administrative costs. Annual ticket sales only cover $270,000 of our annual budget, and our generous sponsors have already committed $22,000 towards our season's programming.  So, as you can see, your support is critical!

Here is a reminder of the great programming ahead in 2023:

The Evolution of Joni Mitchell with Lauren Fox; Cross that River; One Night in Memphis; comedian Heather Land; Beaufort Children’s Theatre’s production of “The Little Mermaid, Jr.”; and Beaufort Theatre Company’s production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”.

As we rapidly approach the end of the year, we ask you to consider giving a gift to support our remaining 2023 season. It’s a gift that will keep on giving beyond the holiday season with creativity, inspiration and performing arts our entire community will enjoy, from kids 1 to 92

A gift of any amount will make a huge difference and help to make our 2023 season shine. Each donation will be acknowledged in our 2023 Playbill and donor board displayed in the CFA lobby. It’s also a beautiful opportunity to give ‘In Memory of’ or ‘In Honor of’ this holiday season. As a special bonus, if you make your donation by January 1, you will receive a special ‘Centered of the Arts Donor’ magnet to display on your car or at home!

(P.S. With tax season approaching, any charitable donation up to $300 is considered a tax break without meeting other thresholds. This makes your donation a gift that benefits you and the Center for the Arts!)

Give us a call at 843-521-4145 or click the link below to give online today! Thank you for your support and for staying centered on the arts! Happy Holidays!

Sincerely,

Bonnie Hargrove
Director, USCB Center for the Arts
