CLEAR, PRIOR COMMUNICATION WITH CFA SOUND AND/OR LIGHT TECHNICIAN(S) IS CRITICAL TO THE SUCCESS OF YOUR RENTAL.


  • Bands/musicians must provide their own instruments, cables, music stands, and mic stands unless agreed upon in advance, and in this document with the CFA.

  • Additional equipment fees will occur depending on number and type of microphones needed. A CFA sound technician MUST be present for all rehearsals and performances.

Lighting

CLEAR, PRIOR COMMUNICATION WITH CFA SOUND AND/OR LIGHT TECHNICIAN(S) IS CRITICAL TO THE SUCCESS OF YOUR RENTAL.


CFA standard house plot includes:


  • FOH: 3 color wash (Lt Blue, Lavender, Amber) Top: 2 color wash (Blue, Amber)

  • Side: 2 color wash (Blue, Red) Cyc: 2 colors (Blue, Red)

If anything beyond the standard plot is required, there will be an additional fee for lighting design and technician hours.


A Lighting Design technician MUST be requested 30 days prior to the event.

Final light plots are due two weeks in advance of event.

Acknowledgements

  1. This is an application, not a rental agreement. No agreement is in place until both the renter (the Licensee) and the USCB Center for the Arts (the Licensor) sign a contract and a 50% deposit is received. 

  2. The renter shall obtain a comprehensive general liability insurance in an amount not less that $1,000,000 per occurrences and $3,000,000 aggregate. The policy shall name the Licensor, USCB as an additional insured. The renter shall provide USCB with a certificate of insurance 30 days prior to rental date or this agreement will terminate.

  3. On campus parking is NOT guaranteed and licensees are subject to USCB Security Parking Guidelines and Restrictions.

  4. All trash from licensed event must be removed from the premises at load out.
