About the show
It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets. Loosely based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.” All Shook Up is a 2004 American jukebox musical with music from the Elvis Presley songbook and with a book by Joe DiPietro. The cast calls for at least 5 female and 4 male featured roles. Selected non-singing roles available. Chorus and dance roles available.

Things you need to know to audition
Audition Location: USCB Center for the Arts 805 Carteret Street, Beaufort, SC 29902
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the audition time to to complete paperwork and pick upsides to read for the audition.
Please bring a non-returnable, recent photograph of yourself.
Prepare portions of a showtune that best showcases you voice. Please bring tracks or prepare to sing a cappella.
The audition consists of a music audition, then you will learn a short dance number and read pre-selected (sides) parts of the script.
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes you can dance in...no sandals.
