Lauren Tillapaugh

Violet

Lauren is thrilled to be stepping into Violet's heels in this story that celebrates women.  She treasures her Beaufort Theatre Company family and has previously played Natalie/Ed in All Shook Up!, Lisa in Mamma Mia!, Sister Sophia in Sound of Music and Dream Laurey in Oklahoma!  She's not sure how Violet does it all as a single mom because she couldn't do this without the endless support of Jeff, Maren, Leo, Papa, Juju, Grammy and Grampy.  Huge thanks to this funny and talented cast and to our incredible team of directors for the chance to be a total boss while using jazz hands.

Julie Seibold

Doralee

After a two-year hiatus, Julie is happy to return to the USCB stage. In addition to theatre and working full-time, she's also a full-time student studying computer programming and is re-creating the show "Taskmaster" with her friends. She doesn't understand what "relaxing" is. She also loves Eurovision and spreadsheets. Previous favorite roles are Margaret White in "Carrie," Elsa Schrader in "The Sound of Music," Marcy Park in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," and Pickles in "The Great American Trailer Park Musical."

Kelly Hall

Judy

Kelly Hall is bustin’ out of that typewriter life and thrilled to be part of Dolly Parton's 9 to 5! She’s delighted to be back onstage with Beaufort Theatre Company, working alongside this powerhouse cast and crew. Kelly spends her 9 to 5 teaching theatre, inspiring creativity and a little bit of that office-floor determination every day. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Theatre and a Master's in Arts Administration from Winthrop University. Some favorite past roles include Sophie in Mamma Mia, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (Broadway World SC’s Best Leading Actress), and Laurey in Oklahoma. Kelly is grateful to the directing team, her husband, kids, and parents for their love and encouragement—and she gives thanks to God for His unshakable grace. Let’s make a little noise, pour a little coffee, and sing out some girl-powered harmonies!

Franklin Hart

Chris has been performing with the Beaufort Theatre Company for four years and most recently played Curly in Oklahoma! When he's not on stage, he can be found on the streets of Beaufort either running, cycling, or leading historical tours.

Elizabeth Epstein

Roz Keith

Elizabeth is thrilled to return to the stage as Roz Keith in 9 to 5 The Musical! She was last seen as Aunt Eller in Oklahoma!, a role she first brought to life in high school. A recent transplant to the Lowcountry, Elizabeth previously spent much of her adult life in Atlanta, where her two grown children and their families still reside. She trained in architecture, holding degrees from Yale and Georgia Tech, and has enjoyed a long professional career in design and construction management. Now “trying retirement on for size,” she is still deciding what she wants to be when she grows up!

This marks his second production with the Beaufort Theatre Company. Some of his favorite past roles include Prince Charming in Cinderella, Mr. Tinsworthy in 9 to 5 the Musical, and a featured ensemble role in Oklahoma! He is deeply grateful to his family and mentors for their constant encouragement and support.

Dakota

Dwayne

Dakota is thrilled to be performing with the Beaufort Theatre Company for the fourth time! He is especially proud of his role as Dwayne in 9 to 5 the Musical. Other favorite roles include Sir Robin in Spamalot, The Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz, and Rusty Charlie in Guys and Dolls. When not on stage, Dakota enjoys cooking. He sends many thanks to his family.

Jackson Hamilton

Josh

Jackson is thrilled to do his first show under the Beaufort Theatre Company, he has done multiple shows with the Beaufort Children’s Theatre Company, with his most recent show there being Alice In Wonderland (King Of Hearts)
He finished a different 9-5 show in June with SSTI, playing the role Dick. Jackson thanks his friends, family, and directors for always pushing him to be his best

Melissa Florence

Missy

Stepping back on stage after a few years hiatus, Melissa is excited to join her cast-mates in this fun and crowd pleasing show. Discovering a love for theater as a child, she enjoyed the diversity, creativity and entertainment that only a live performance can offer. When not on stage you can find Melissa at her flower shop, FarmCity Flowers or spending time with family or friends.

Megan Clavijo

Maria 

Megan was born to teach, move, and inspire. A Beaufort native, she loves living in the Lowcountry with her husband and their children. As a yoga instructor, she helps others find balance and growth through movement, mindfulness, and personal development. This is her first musical, and she’s thrilled to be part of such a creative and welcoming cast. Megan is a dreamer who believes that "happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."

Tim Rogowski

Dick

Tim Rogowski is beyond excited to play Dick in 9 to 5 the Musical! Previous credits include Spamalot and Oklahoma! He and his wife, Margaret, live on Lady’s Island, where she has endured (with saint-like patience) approximately 17,462 renditions of the same song while Tim prepared for this show. He insists her support deserves its own standing ovation.

Melissa McCarthy

Kathy

Melissa is so excited to be making her USCB debut in 9 to 5!  Melissa is newer to the area but not to the stage.  She has performed in dozens of shows and muscials all over Connecticut and was a principal performer on the North Pole Express in Essex, CT.  Some of her favorite theatre experiences include Lend Me a Tenor, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Young Frankenstein, Gypsy and 42nd Street.  

Melissa is so excited and grateful to be performing along side this talented cast, directors and crew.  The laughter and fun we have makes this experience truly enjoyable! 

A special thank you to my husband Aaron and our 2 sons, Jack and Maverick, for being my biggest fans and supporters, love you!!

Margaret

This is Valencia’s fourth show with the Center for the Arts, and she is excited to be part of 9 to 5 the Musical! Previous productions with CFA include All Shook Up, Guys and Dolls, and The Sound of Music. In her free time, Valencia enjoys learning languages and playing word games.

Marshall Williams

Tinsworthy

Marshall Williams has been in Beaufort for four years and on stage in Guys and Dolls, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, and with the Gullah Kinfolk Traveling Theater. He’s worked with the Monteverdi Players of Guilford, Vt.; the Maryland Stage Company in Baltimore; the Gazebo Players of Medfield, Mass.; the Yale Cabaret, and the Hudson Shakespeare Co. of Hoboken, N.J. Marshall is an avid bridge player and enjoys painting in the Low Country.

Alison Chambers

Ensemble

Alison was active in Atlanta theatre before the pandemic and toured the country with USO show reenactments. She has iconic stars like Betty Grable and Marilyn Monroe and co-founded The Freedom Belles, performing vintage music. A living historian and adjunct faculty at USCB, Alison holds a Bachelor’s in and a Master’s in Military Leadership from The Citadel. She plans to open a Kindermusik and voice studio next year. Favorite credits include Maria in The Sound of Music and Becca in Rabbit Hole. Alison dedicates her performances to her daughter Ava Jeanne and thanks her parents for their support.

Peyton Wardlow

Peyton Wardlow (doctor, Ensemble) This is her first production with the Beaufort Theater Company. Favorite past roles include Jamie in Bottom of The Lake and Brainiac in Highschool Musical. She thanks her family and friends for their endless support!!

Beau Backus

Ensemble

Beau Backus is a 17 year old junior at Beaufort high school. Beau has been doing musical theatre for 3 years now being part of past productions of Oklahoma!, The Wiz, Footloose, and others. Beau spent his summer at a theatre institute in Hilton head called SSTI, learning more about musical theatre. Beau is excited to preform this show with this lovely cast and crew!

Kay Owen

Kay has been involved in local area theaters since 2010 as a result of her cat being cast in the play “Talking With” at ArtWorks in Beaufort. She is thrilled to have been welcomed back to USCB after acting with Coastal Stage Productions & May River Theater for several years. Her largest role at USCB was in 2014 in “A Piece of My Heart” which focused on women who served in the Vietnam War. Kay played the leader of an all girls band who entertained the troops.

It has been wonderful for her to get to know the talented young people currently in Beaufort Theater Company.

Livi Smith

Livi Smith is a sophomore at Beaufort High School, where she participates in the BHS Drama department. The arts are an essential part of her life and she is grateful for every opportunity to grow as a performer. This marks her second production with Beaufort Theater Company. Livi previously appeared in Oklahoma, as a cowgirl. Livi has also performed in Footloose, High School Musical Jr., Legally Blonde Jr., and Shrek Jr. Livi has also participated in the Governor’s School for the Arts drama summer program as well as various theater workshops. Outside of theater, Livi enjoys running with her dogs and spending time with her family and friends and singing in various choirs.

Chloe Miles

David Barr

Ensemble

David has been doing shows with various schools and community theaters in different states since he was eight years old. Some of his favorite roles include Jafar in ‘Aladdin’, Jeremy in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ and Lord Farquaad in ‘Shrek’. This is his second full length show with USCB after Oklahoma, last year. 

When not on the stage, David is a junior at Beaufort High and you can probably find him out running on the track, mountain biking, or listening to and making music.
